Miss Evelyn came to visit me a few weeks ago.  This session went as smooth as a newborn session can possibly go. She slept through the entire session and I don’t recall any accidents that I had to clean up.  She loved being all curled up.   I always have props and outfits for newborn sessions in the studio, but little Evelyn’s  mom brought a few requests, one of them was a bonnet made out of her wedding dress.

Lizzy and John met while they were both working at the Fort Wayne Children’s Zoo.  When asked to describe their wedding day, they wanted to remember their vows the most.  They wanted their wedding day to be casual and fun.  The Trolly was perfect for that, and we stopped at a few fun locations for pictures in the down town area of Fort Wayne, before heading to the Fort Wayne, Museum of Art.

The reception was casual with food stations, an outdoor area, as well as some seating in the conference room with the DJ and dance floor.  People ate, mingled, danced, and laughed. It was a wonderful time and a great start to my 2017 wedding season!

This past winter, I took a video course so that I could start making home videos of my kiddos.  I am so glad I did!  We love watching the ones I have made so far and you may have seen a few of the videos on previous blogs.  I decided to try an experiment and make a highlight video for a wedding to just see how it went.  There is a ton of room for improvement, but I am over the moon with this first try.  Here is a little highlight of Lizzy and John’s wedding day!
