Little baby Thomas was adorable.  I actually photographed his parents wedding a few years back so it was exciting to get to photograph the newest addition to the family!  As you have seen lately, I love this little newborn chair and am getting much more comfortable and familiar using it during my sessions.  During his session, we tried a backwards pose on it and I love how it turned out.

This family, the view, and the little’s guys smile is enough to make my heart burst.  I recently went to California on a vacation with some of my dearest girl friends.  While out there, I photographed this beautiful family in Half Moon bay.  This location might be the most beautiful place I have ever been.  I have been blessed to have to visited many places in our world, and everything about this beach is hard to beat.

We planned to have our session in the evening, but the rain didn’t cooperate with our schedule so we squeezed it in when we could late morning.  These photos show just how fun and playful this family is.  I love everything about them.  Here are a few of my favorites from their session. Its just a glimpse because we ended up with way too many to post the entire session.

Photography is all about the feels for me.  So, obviously I love engagement season and everything about these sessions.   I love the excitement, the connection, the laughter, and genuine happiness.  This session was extra special because they chose to have their engagement session at the flower garden in Foster Park which is where Seth proposed to Lauren.  When we arrived at the spot they reminisced about that special day.  Lauren told me how Seth lined the path with flowers and how some of their family members were hiding in the bushes like paparazzi.  Lauren caught eye of those hiding and she waved, not knowing what to do.   This location was the perfect place to capture their love and commitment to one another…and its beautiful this time of year!
